According to preliminary information, today at about 15.55 a 22-year-old driver of a Renault car near house No. 44 on Independence Avenue showed inattention and indiscretion to the traffic situation and collided with a parked SKODA car, as well as a Chrysler moving along in the third lane for traffic. According to the results of a medical examination, 0.58 ppm of ALCOHOL was found in the body of a taxi driver.

As a result of the accident, no one was injured. Employees of the traffic police department of the Soviet District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk and the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked at the scene .

The State Traffic Inspectorate recalls that drunk driving is subject to a fine of up to 200 basic units (1 BV - Br37) with deprivation of the right to drive for up to five years. For a repeated violation during the year, a similar violation threatens criminal liability with confiscation of the vehicle.
