Caring Minsk residents helped to detain a drunk driver

November 6, MINSK. Caring Minskers helped detain the drunk driver. Such information is posted on the TELEGRAM channel of the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee, BelTA informs.

On November 5, information was received on line 102: a drunk driver was driving along Dzerzhinsky Avenue in a BMW car. The crew of the traffic police department of the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk immediately left in the indicated direction and near the house No. 126 on Dzerzhinsky Avenue, in the parking lot of the hypermarket, they found the required passenger car. "The driver, a 22-year-old young man, was agitated when talking to the policemen, a strong smell of ALCOHOL emanated from him. The law enforcement officers offered the driver to go for an examination, as a result of which 0.71 ppm of alcohol was found in his body," the report says.

The young man was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 18.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Another drunk driver was detained by the traffic police of the Sovetsky police department of Minsk on November 4. At about 18.10, near the house No. 40 on Kulman Street, police officers stopped a BMW, a 67-year-old man was driving. His condition seemed suspicious to law enforcement officers - the man was taken for examination. The examination revealed 1.38 ppm of alcohol. Later, the motorist said that he was relaxing with a friend in a restaurant and drinking alcohol.

The state traffic inspectorate urges citizens not to remain indifferent. If you see that a drunk driver is getting behind the wheel or he is already driving a car, report this by calling 102.
