Minsk traffic police revealed more than 260 traffic violations by taxi drivers over the weekend

April 15, Minsk . Over the past weekend, city traffic inspectors stopped 261 violations of traffic rules by taxi drivers. BelTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Over the weekend, 72 accidents occurred in Minsk, in which three road users were injured.

19 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated. Inspectors of the capital's traffic police fined 64 motorists for speeding and stopped 42 drivers of cars without rights. 145 drivers were cited for violations of pedestrian crossing rules. Another 85 motorists neglected to wear seat belts.

According to the traffic police, 393 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 28 of them were in a stateAlcohol intoxication .  

The State Traffic Inspectorate calls on road users to respect each other and reminds that strict adherence to traffic rules is the key to safety on the road.
