news For Inna Anatsko, the senior local inspector of the juvenile affairs inspectorate of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Administration of the Sovetsky District of Gomel, there are no other people's children. She worries and worries about each of her charges, and tries to do everything to protect them from wrong steps and rash actions, the price for which is sometimes too great. On the eve of the day of formation of the juvenile affairs inspectorate, which is celebrated on June 19, Inna Anatsko, in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent, shared her vision of how to find the keys to a difficult age.
“Master of Sports in all sports” Inna has long wanted to connect her professional path with children. “Not from my childhood, but from a more conscious age, I went towards this goal. First I worked at school. Then, after three months of training at the training center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, I came to the juvenile affairs inspectorate. This was November 2012. I started as a district inspector, and several years ago I became a senior inspector,” the interlocutor describes the steps of her professional path.
“I love my job. And today I go to
it with the same passion with which I came to the IDN on the first day,” assures the senior district inspector. And you can’t live without passion in this profession. After all, you always, at any time of the day, need to be on alert, ready to help children and teenagers.
“The employees of the juvenile affairs inspectorate do a huge amount of work. I always say that the inspector of the Inspectorate for Children is a master of sports in all sports. He is always there when there is a family scandal, a domestic scandal, or in any other situation that can be dangerous for children and adolescents. And plus large-scale prevention - both with the minors themselves and with their parents,” adds Vladimir Burov,
HEAD of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel OVD.
Homes where children should not live Inna Anatsko became immersed in the intricacies of working with minors even before she was accepted into the service - during her internship. “It took place at the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Sovetsky District Administration. Thanks to inspectors with extensive work experience, I saw the full scale of the activity. We went to problem addresses, responded to calls, spoke at schools, talked with teenagers, with parents who were not involved in raising their children. Periodically We also ended up in houses where children should not live,” the interlocutor recalls the two-week internship, during which she managed to learn a lot.
At that time, Inna Anatsko did not yet have her own family, her own child. “And I say with sadness that I learned how to change diapers for babies on other people’s children - there were cases when we came upon a message that
the parents of the babies were behaving inappropriately in a state
ALCOHOL intoxication . The children needed help, we took them to the hospital for further life support,” the policeman still cannot forget those situations.
Prevent and warn Today, at the administrative site, which is led by Inna Anatsko, there are two schools, a college, and several dormitories. “On my About 3 thousand minors from 0 to 18 years live in the area. I am currently carrying out individual preventive work with 17 teenagers aged 10 years and older,” she gives the breakdown. However, the phone number of the senior inspector is well known not only by the children who require increased attention, but also by many other minor residents of this territory.
“For almost Over the 12 years of my work, we have developed very close, trusting relationships with schools and colleges. We are constantly in touch. If you need any help, I come at any time of the day. An individual conversation is required with the teenager, with the parents of the students - we will also organize everything without delay. We also come to the dormitories, where we talk with teenagers, teachers, and janitors. If educators ask to pay more attention to someone, we definitely go and talk,” the senior district inspector outlines the algorithm of interaction.
Inna Anatsko calls prevention the primary task of the IDN. “First of all, we must prevent, warn, forestall. And only in exceptional cases, when it is no longer possible to prevent, other measures are applied,” she notes.
“Of course, we try to find a common language with all teenagers. Therefore, a juvenile affairs inspector should become a mentor, a psychologist, and a friend for a teenager. It happens that rough boys or girls come to the inspection, who have no contact with their parents, no one can find an approach to them, and there is no mutual understanding with others. In a confidential conversation, word for word, a teenager reveals problems that parents often don’t even know about: resentments, understatements, the feeling that you are not understood. Sometimes guys are even afraid to tell something to their loved ones, they are afraid of their parents’ reaction,” emphasizes the experienced police officer. According to her, she is convinced that female intuition, warmth, sincerity, and a woman’s heart help her to reveal the soul of a teenager and pick up the keys to a difficult age.
” And I must say, for the most part, I find a common language with everyone,” the policeman modestly adds.
Learning from other people’s mistakes She emphasizes: there are different approaches. “We explain, we show by examples of other guys who have stumbled, in order to warn and save. For example, we conduct teleconferences with already convicted guys who are in prison. After such revelations with peers, it is clear that the guys are thinking, even those who are trying to hide it with external bravado,” the interlocutor shares her observations.
The educational effect, she is sure, is also visible in the case when a teenager is taken into custody for serious crimes, especially drug trafficking, in the presence of his peers. “As a rule, at this moment there is a ringing silence. Some of the teenagers mentally put themselves in the place of the one who is going to trial
. It’s morally difficult. But for minors, this is another reason to think and stop if they suddenly have the idea of veering onto a criminal path,” - says Inna Anatsko.
She confirms the effect of various forms of preventive work with facts: in the area entrusted to her, as well as in the Sovetsky district as a whole, in recent years the number of teenagers who are detained on serious charges has decreased significantly.
It has decreased, but has not been reduced to zero - after all, there are also teenagers who find it difficult to get better, the senior district inspector states with regret. “Guys who have problems with the law are sent to special closed educational institutions, special closed medical institutions. I won’t say that there are many such cases. But each of them is always
pain and anxiety,” the interlocutor admits.
For example, at the beginning of this year, one of her charges was sent to a special closed-type medical institution. “I, the school, and his mother worked with the guy every day. But he didn’t hear us. Having fallen under the bad influence of a company where everyone was much older than him, the teenager, who was not even 16 years old, tried not to look like a black sheep and together with his friends drank
alcohol . He was detained more than once for being drunk in public places. At a meeting of the commission on juvenile affairs, he was warned about the inadmissibility of such behavior. However, nothing had any effect - he did not make contact and often closed himself off. And by a
COURT decision he was sent to a special closed-type medical institution,” the senior district inspector dives into the details of the story.
“He is a very smart guy. And now, being in a closed institution, he studies well. He is praised. Passed exams well after 9th grade. I received a certificate of basic education,” continues Inna Anatsko.
Dangerous pursuit of profit and dubious entertainment The policeman draws attention to the fact that there are now more and more cases when teenagers are involved in crimes in the field of high technology - fraud, theft of funds from bank card holders, etc. further. “Minors are promised a reward for participating in criminal schemes, which is often meager in the end, and the retribution for it is then quite serious,” the law enforcement officer warns young people against rash actions.
The topic of so-called registrations, when teenagers meet in chat rooms, does not lose its relevance. groups on the Internet and come to strangers' houses, where parties are organized with alcohol, often drugs.
The most recent high-profile incident is a night-time house party with the participation of teenagers in mid-May, when about 15 people gathered at a flat in the Sovetsky district. Most of them were teenagers. Of course, the fun was not complete without alcohol. Neighbors called the police due to the noisy company. As a result, 47 administrative protocols and criminal cases were drawn up. “There were also girls aged 14-16 years old on the flat. After the preventive explanatory work was carried out, they realized the seriousness of the situation and today changed their line of behavior for the better,” emphasizes the senior district inspector.
She clarifies: often when asked why teenagers go to such flats, they say the banal “because they are bored.” “And so that the kids don’t get bored, we try to involve them in different types of leisure and work activities. For example, in the summer these include labor and recreation camps, student detachments, military-patriotic clubs, clubs, sections and much, much more,” - the policeman lists.
It all starts with the family “In general, it all starts with the family. And it is very important that we, all subjects of prevention and parents, have a united front. However, sometimes parents do not want to realize until the last minute that their child has problems, they do not want to admit first of all, for themselves. And after six months or a year, when the situation reaches a steep peak, these same parents come and ask for help,” the interlocutor gives another observation from practice.
Inna Anatsko herself is raising a seven-year-old son. "And, of course, there is a fear of missing out on something in upbringing. When I come across this or that problematic situation at work, on the way home I tell myself what to do correctly to avoid this, what to tell the child, what to do, in what “The carrot will help, and at some point it’s time to remember the stick. But in any case, it is important to be a friend to the child, so that he understands: he has someone who will always love, will always come to the rescue and will always be his support,” he formulates his opinion. education rule senior district inspector.
