The results and plans for the development of lean production in the Ministry of Agriculture of Chuvashia were announced during a peer review by the commission of the “Effective Region” project.
“The head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev pays special attention to the implementation of ESG projects and customer-centricity mechanisms in the ministries of the republic. Their task is to create comfortable conditions for workers and recipients of subsidies, increase efficiency and interaction, and strengthen digitalization. This approach always leads to good results. We at the Ministry of Agriculture have already implemented 6 projects: we introduced new approaches to internal reporting, automated the information system in the agro-industrial complex and veterinary medicine of the region. We plan to begin implementing another 15 ideas in 2024 ,” notes the Deputy Prime Minister,Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.
It is planned to optimize 7 processes within the ministry: maintaining a register of investment projects, reporting on the use of subsidies for the fight against Sosnovsky's hogweed, collecting data to summarize the results of economic competition among farmers, as well as creating a register of self-employed private household plots and automating the monitoring of vacancies in the industry.
Processes in which agricultural producers and villagers are involved will move to the Internet space. There are 8 of them in total.
In 2024, a system for online transmission of documents for participation in the competitive selection of initiative budgeting will be prepared and tested. An IT product is being introduced that will allow the transfer of information on the progress of field work from farmers to the Ministry through a separate service. In addition, from this year, the provision of federal subsidies and grants to agricultural producers will be carried out through the “Electronic Budget”, which will also save people time on trips to the department and ensure even greater openness.
Based on the results of project defense, experts approved and positively assessed the experience and plans of the Ministry of Agriculture of Chuvashia to implement lean processes. In particular, the commission noted that employees’ workplaces comply with 5S standards: “sorting”, “maintaining order”, “keeping clean” “standardization”, “improvement”.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated: “We are aware of how the world is developing, where it is moving and what are the basic criteria for investment flows today. This ESG indicator is a comprehensive indicator of how the state envisages its development in the near, medium and longer term.”
For reference: ESG (environmental - ecology, social - social development, governance - corporate governance) are standards of an organization’s activities that can also be used to evaluate investments in an enterprise.
