Kuzbass leads in chicken egg production in Siberia.

According to preliminary results, last year, poultry farms and enterprises in the region produced 1,305.8 million eggs. This is 1.6% higher than the 2022 level, when 1,285 million eggs were produced—the highest figure in the history of livestock farming in the Kuzbass at that time.
"Our poultry farmers set another historic record. We continue to develop this area of agriculture and increase the production of high-quality products. Kuzbass is the leader in chicken egg production in Siberia, and we are successfully fulfilling the goal set by Russian President Vladimir Putin to provide the region with its own products," emphasized Sergei Tsivilev.
Egg production per capita in Kuzbass was 508 eggs per year in 2023, and 454 in 2022. The region's self-sufficiency in this type of product has reached 162.7%.
Over the past five years, chicken egg production in Kuzbass has increased by 20%, from 1 billion 089.3 million eggs in 2019 to 1 billion 305.8 million eggs in 2023. This growth is primarily driven by four large, modern egg-producing poultry farms: Inskaya, Yashkinskaya, and Kemerovskaya, as well as the Babicheva peasant farm.
The leader in egg production is Inskaya Poultry Farm LLC in the Belovsky District, producing 565.9 million eggs, or 43.3% of all eggs produced in Kuzbass. It is the most modern, high-tech poultry farm in the region, and one of the best from the Urals to the Far East. All key production processes are computerized, virtually eliminating physical labor.
Kuzbass Poultry Farm JSC in the Novokuznetsk District ranks second in egg production. Another enterprise that is one of the three largest egg producers in the region is Yashkinskaya Poultry Farm LLC.
