Four Lipetsk agricultural producers will receive diplomas of the contest "The Best Sugar Farm in Russia 2022"

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Sugar Producers of Russia summed up the results of the annual competition among sugar beet growing farms of the country. Four Lipetsk farms were recognized as winners.
The diploma of the I degree was awarded to the farm "Dubrava" from the village of Roshinsky, Chaplyginsky district, the II degree - to the head of the peasant farm Arkhiptsev S.N. from the village of Volovo, Volovsky district.
Two more peasant farms from the Yelets district, Zueva A.N. from the village of Kamenskoye and Chernykh A.Yu. from the village of Talitsa, were awarded diplomas of the III degree. When determining the winners, the competition commission took into account the area under crops, gross harvest, yield, sugar content and profitability of production.
According to the results of 2022, the Lipetsk region ranked third in the country in terms of sugar beet production, having collected 5.3 million tons. “For the Lipetsk region, sugar beet is a strategic crop. Our sugar beet growers have managed to achieve a very high level in its cultivation, the most modern scientific developments are being applied in the fields,” says Oleg Dolgikh, head of the regional department of agriculture.
