The deputies of the European Parliament by a majority vote adopted a resolution "On preparations for the EU-Ukraine summit", in which they called on the European Union "to immediately adopt the tenth package of sanctions against Russia." "Parliament also calls for sanctions against companies such as Lukoil and Rosatom that are still present on the EU market," the statement said.

It is proposed to introduce a complete embargo on the import of fossil fuels and uranium from Russia, as well as completely refuse to receive gas through the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines. The resolution was adopted by 489 MEPs, 36 voted against, 49 abstained.
