The authorities will allocate billions of rubles for northerners moving to Tyumen

In 2022, under the Cooperation program, 3 billion rubles will be allocated for subsidies for pensioners moving to the Tyumen region, the Information Center of the regional government reported. More than 650 families will benefit from this subsidy.

Also, the funds of the program are used for the treatment of residents of the district in the Tyumen region.

At a press conference, the governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, noted that they would not build separate residential complexes for migrants, Yamal residents have the right to choose their place of residence, the number of housing under construction in Tyumen allows them to make such a choice.

Another 3 billion rubles will be directed to the resettlement of residents of Yugra. And another 2 billion, also within the framework of the Cooperation program, go to organize the provision of medical care during the spread of COVID-19 .

The money provided for by the program is also used to build a section of the Nadym-Salekhard highway, an overpass and traffic interchange in Novy Urengoy are being built, and sections of the Surgut-Salekhard highway are being reconstructed.

“Today, the mechanism of cooperation has been worked out and is clear. We respond flexibly to all proposals. The main thing is that the program fulfills the main task - the implementation of projects that are common to us and are aimed at improving the quality of life in Yamal, Yugra and the Tyumen region,” said Alexander Moor.

He also added that he was ready for the next signing of a document under the Cooperation program.
