52 new cases of COVID-19 infection

According to the headquarters, out of 52 new cases of the disease, one is imported, the rest are contacts. 17 people have been hospitalized, 35 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 23 cases were confirmed per day, nine in Naberezhnye Chelny, six in the Almetyevsk district of the Republic of Tatarstan, five in Nizhnekamsk, two each in Yelabuga, Mendeleevsky, Tukaevsky and Chistopolsky, one in the Leninogorsk district.

In total, 1,038,411 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan, of which 901,058 received a second vaccination.

In Russia, 18,178 people were infected per day, the operational headquarters said. The total number of cases exceeded 7.1 million. More than 6.4 million people recovered, more than 193 thousand died (plus 719 per day).
