In Tatarstan, after the introduction of QR codes, there was a decrease in passenger traffic by 20-30%. Andrei Yegorov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic, announced this on the air of the RUSSIA 24 TV channel.

“There is a reduction - preliminary, they give us 20-30 percent. There are also those whom we deployed today - more than 1.5 thousand people in Kazan alone. In other cities, the numbers are ten times smaller, but they also exist, ”he said.

According to him, in general, there were no delays in public transport due to checks, with the exception of certain routes, where passengers without QR codes refused to leave vehicles until the police arrived. Delays on some routes reached 30 minutes, Yegorov noted.
