According to the auctions announced by the Kazan authorities, the celebration of Sabantuy will take place in Birch groves in Derbyshki and in Mirny, at the Hippodrome and in the forest park near Lake Lebyazhye

The Executive Committee of Kazan published on the website of public procurement a number of tenders to find the organizers of the national Tatar holiday Sabantuy.

The initial (maximum) contract price of one of them is 31.2 million rubles. The state contract is planned to be concluded for the provision of services for organizing and holding a holiday near Lake Lebyazhye and in the Birch Grove of the village of Derbyshki. The text of the tender documentation on the public procurement website notes that the event is designed for 25,000 guests. The term for the provision of services is no later than June 26, 2021.

The second contract is planned to be concluded for no more than 38.2 million rubles. The winner of the auction will have to organize and hold Sabantuy in the Birch Grove of the Mirny settlement and at the Kazan hippodrome. The term for the provision of services, as in the first case, is no later than June 26.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov signed a decree on the dates of the national holiday on May 19. In rural settlements and regional centers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the holiday will be held on June 12. In Naberezhnye Chelny, the celebration is scheduled for June 19, in Kazan - on the 26th.

The Government of Tatarstan, together with local authorities, was instructed to ensure the organization of festive events in compliance with COVID-security measures.

In 2020, the celebration of Sabantuy in cities, regional centers and large settlements was canceled due to the risk of the spread of COVID-19 . In rural areas, the authorities made a decision, taking into account the opinion of the population. On July 4, a republican online Sabantuy was held.

Federal Sabantuy this year will be held in Nizhnevartovsk. A number of administrations of municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan have published tenders for the selection of organizers for the transportation of groups for the holiday. For example, the executive committee of Nizhnekamsk will allocate 14.7 million rubles for these purposes.
