Bashkiria received 78,600 doses of Sputnik Light vaccine. In the near future, the drug will be distributed to the republican points of vaccination, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus reports.

The Sputnik Light single-phase vaccine is indicated for people aged 18 to 60 who have previously been vaccinated against coronavirus infection or have had the disease. The republican Ministry of Health clarified that the choice of a specific vaccine is up to the doctor, however, residents of Bashkiria can check in advance the availability of a particular drug using the telegram bot BashVaccBot. In total, 183 vaccination points have been opened on the territory of the republic.

To date, more than 1.9 million people have been vaccinated with the first component in Bashkiria, and 13,000 residents of the region have been vaccinated over the past day. The second component was received by 1.63 million people, including 17.6 thousand who were vaccinated the day before.

In early November, the Ministry of Health reported that the stocks of the Sputnik Light vaccine in the region had run out. Last week, the republic received 18.6 thousand doses of the drug. 

According to the republican operational headquarters for combating COVID-19 , 101,677 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Bashkiria to date, of which 673 were detected over the past day. During the day, 672 people were discharged, a total of 90,540 residents of the republic recovered. During the day, 37 people died, the total number of victims of the pandemic was 3316.
