Russian presidential commissioner Boris Titov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that Moscow should allow the use of all CORONAVIRUS vaccines approved by the World HEALTH Organization (WHO) without waiting for counter proposals from the West.
He noted that now the Russian government is ready to recognize foreign vaccines only on the terms of "reciprocity". “It seems to me that in today’s difficult situation, it’s not the time to go on principle and wait for foreign bureaucrats to approve our vaccinations and make an exception,” the Ombudsman said.
According to him, all vaccinations against covid-19 that have received WHO approval should be allowed for import and use in RUSSIA. “Then we will reckon and present each other's claims when this infection recedes. But not now!" Titov concluded.
To date, WHO has approved the use of Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, ASTRAZENECA, Johnson&Johnson, Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines.
