Rostourism did not rule out the launch of charters to the Venezuelan island

Two major Russian tour operators are considering launching charter flights to the Venezuelan island of Margarita, Zarina Doguzova, head of the Federal Tourism Agency, said, her words are quoted in the Telegram of the federal agency.

“Such a charter program can expand the possibilities of a beach holiday for Russians, especially in the cold season,” she said.

Doguzova met with Venezuelan Tourism Minister Ali Padron Paredes. They discussed the development of cooperation between countries in the field of tourism, ensuring the safety of tourists from Russia, as well as the possible expansion of regular and charter flights between the countries in the spring.

In response, the Venezuelan minister, for his part, declared Venezuela's readiness for fruitful cooperation with Russia and assured that Russian tourists were expected in the country. According to him, Conviasa aircraft will fly from Caracas to Moscow and back once a week from April, and not once every two weeks, as it is now.
