Rospotrebnadzor sees no need to close Russian borders due to the situation with CORONAVIRUS infection. This was stated by the HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova in an interview with Naila Asker-zade on the RUSSIA 1 channel.

“The main distribution is within the country. These are not imported cases,” she explained.

According to Popova, the proportion of positive tests for covid-19 among those who come from abroad does not exceed 1%. The agency blocks all imported cases, since upon arrival and upon arrival in Russia, everyone passes PCR tests, she noted.
