Flags over the US Capitol were flown at half-staff, according to online surveillance footage.

According to Chron, the flag was lowered in memory of Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Lee. The publication notes that the flag will remain at half-mast at least until Saturday, July 27.

The Americans noticed the lowered flag. X published publications where the lowering of the flag was associated with the “death” of US President Joe Biden, who recently contracted the CORONAVIRUS. Earlier, the president's DOCTOR Kevin O'Connor said that Biden's covid-19 symptoms had almost disappeared, his pulse and temperature remained normal.

Sheila Lee died on July 20, she was 74 years old. In June, the congresswoman announced that she had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While in Congress, Lee advocated for the rights of blacks. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer called Lee's death a "huge loss" and Biden described her as a "great American."
