Such instructions were given by the Governor of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Makhonin, to the respective profile deputies of the Chairman of the Government of the region. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

It is reported that 340 million rubles. will be aimed at providing medicines to patients with coronavirus treated on an outpatient basis. Including Favipiravir, Umifenovir, Rivaroxiban, Apixaban and other medicines will be purchased.

Another 100 million rubles. will be allocated to additional measures for the diagnosis of COVID-19, and about 50 million rubles. – for the purchase of medical equipment in case of a possible need to open additional beds in intensive care units (ICUs).

In addition, about 3 million rubles. will be directed to the delivery of patients for examinations on computed tomography.

Earlier, RBC Perm reported that Vitaly Kostarev, Chief Sanitary Doctor for the Perm Territory, stated at a meeting of the coronavirus infection control headquarters that six cases of the Omicron strain had been detected in the region. Of the six cases, five are imported from Egypt, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Austria. In one case, the omicron strain was found in a relative of the patient. In 50% of cases, the disease passed without symptoms.

In early January, it became known that the first case of infection with an omicron strain of coronavirus was detected in the Perm Territory. It was recorded on December 29, 2021 in a citizen who arrived from Egypt in transit through Moscow. The disease proceeded easily, on January 6 the patient was already healthy.
