416 million will be allocated for infrastructure for new COVID hospitals in Bashkiria

The authorities of Bashkiria will allocate 416.3 million rubles in 2021 and 2022 to create infrastructure for new infectious diseases hospitals in Sibay and Tuymazy. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Nazarov. Funds will be allocated from the republican budget by reducing the allocations provided for the implementation of the regional targeted investment program.

In 2021, two medical institutions will receive a subsidy in the amount of 46 million rubles. Financing will be distributed between the Tuymazinsky Central District Hospital and the Central City Hospital of Sibay. The first medical institution will receive 30.2 million rubles, the second - 15.8 million. The funds are intended for the implementation of measures for technological connection to water supply and sanitation networks, electricity, gas supply and the Internet.

In 2022, another 370 million rubles will be allocated to hospitals, 303 million of which are intended for the purchase of complexes for the heat treatment of household wastewater with a sewerage station. An additional 67 million rubles will be allocated to the Sibay medical institution for equipment for medical gas supply, follows from the order. The Republican Ministry of Health was instructed to ensure the targeted and efficient use of the allocated funds.

As RBC Ufa reported, the cost of building infection centers in Sibay and Tuymazy was estimated at 2.5 billion rubles. The first stone in the construction of medical facilities is planned to be laid on December 11, and in January 2022, the facilities will be put into operation. Previously, suppliers of furniture and two CT scanners for new hospitals were chosen in Bashkiria, the cost of the first contract was 108 million rubles, the second - 130 million.
