The Ministry of Emergency Situations spoke about the number of fires in the Kama region on the May weekend

During the first weekend in May, 107 man-made fires were recorded in the Perm Territory, 30 of them were landscape fires. During the period from April 30 to May 3 in the Kama region, 3 people died in fires, 4 people were injured. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Perm Territory.

“A fire hazard period has been established in the Perm Territory since April 19, so land owners should follow the fire safety rules: remove garbage and dry grass in a timely manner, as well as control the use of open fire,” commented the head of the supervision department at especially important fire hazardous facilities, the department of supervisory activities and preventive work of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Perm Territory Petr Petrov.

Earlier, RBC Perm reported that 274.2 million rubles will be allocated to extinguish forest fires in the Perm Territory in 2022. This is 2.7 times more than a year earlier. Of this amount, 169.3 million rubles. - federal budget funds, 59.4 million rubles. - funds of the regional budget, the rest - funds of tenants and other sources. In terms of funding in 2022, the Perm Territory ranked first in the Volga Federal District.
