A large-scale campaign has been launched on the Internet to promote fake information about vaccines and vaccination against CORONAVIRUS. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of RUSSIA.
“A large-scale campaign has been launched on the Internet to promote false information about the mortal danger of vaccines against a new coronavirus infection, about the imminent extinction of the vaccinated population of the planet, about chipping people, and so on,” the report said.
The ministry clarified that against the background of such publications, Internet services and TELEGRAM channels are actively functioning, where allegedly on legal grounds it is offered to purchase vaccination certificates, QR codes and PCR test results.

They also noted that in 2021, after the Prosecutor General’s Office appealed to Roskomnadzor, “a significant amount of inaccurate information materials” was removed or blocked.

In mid-December, the State Duma approved an out-of-court blocking of websites selling information about COVID-19. The amendment is being made to the law “On information, information technologies and information protection”. The bill also provides for blocking, by decision of the Prosecutor General or his deputies, in relation to sites disseminating extremist and terrorist information.
