Activision Blizzard has begun working with US federal authorities  to investigate alleged insider trading in the company's stock. it is reported by REUTERS

Thus, the developer received requests for information from the US Securities   and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a subpoena from the Department of Justice. 

Earlier, media moguls Barry Diller and David Geffen, as well as investor Alexander von Furstenberg, bought stock options. This was preceded by a meeting between von Furstenberg and Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, which took place a few days before the announcement of the deal with Microsoft. Option holders claim they knew nothing about her.
