In the Brest Region, workers in agriculture and the processing industry of the agro-industrial complex are honored everywhere on the eve of their professional holiday. Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Petr Parkhomchik presented well-deserved awards to workers in the Ivanovo District, BELTA reports. Petr Parkhomchik
cordially congratulated workers in agriculture and the processing industry on the holiday, spoke about the successes of the Brest Region this year and aimed at even better results in the future. The Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee also got acquainted with the work of some enterprises.
"We pay great attention to the development and diversification of sales markets, as this increases the efficiency of the enterprise. We also have new sales markets. One of the latest is Chile. We plan to develop cooperation with this country. Over the course of the year, we have significantly increased the volume of deliveries to Africa," said Vitaly Linkevich,
DIRECTOR General of Belsolod OJSC. He emphasized that the company achieves good results largely due to
EXPORT diversification.
Agricultural enterprises are betting on increasing capacity. By the end of this year, 33 dairy farms will be commissioned in the Brest region. This is not only about new construction, but also about modernization. In particular, at OJSC Psyshchevo Agro, the reconstruction of the dairy complex in the village of Psyshchevo is nearing completion.
"This complex will give a serious impetus to the further development of our farm. Previously, they said that there are three Ks in
MILK production - personnel, feed, cows. But today we have approached such indicators that we are already starting to talk about the fourth K - comfort. With the commissioning of our complex, this fourth K appears in our farm. Accordingly, all indicators will be an order of magnitude higher, including the quality of dairy products and the products that our industrialists and processors will receive," noted the director of Psyshchevo Agro Anton Pomazansky.
This farm differs from many others in that
it has its own milk processing workshop. "Our products are of very high quality and are highly appreciated by consumers. They are mainly sold on the market of the Republic of
Belarus . By introducing a new complex, we receive more products. The next plans are further modernization of our workshop in order to process more livestock products at our facilities," explained the
HEAD of the agricultural enterprise.
Industrial enterprises help to make the work of farmers easier and more efficient. One of them is OJSC Mekosan. They implemented an innovative project. The Ivanovo enterprise began to produce a mobile energy vehicle for applying mineral fertilizers.
"We have mastered the self-propelled sprayer-spreader "Mekosan-1000" under the "One District - One Project" program. It has been produced since the beginning of this year. Eight sprayers have already been produced, they have been shipped. By the end of this year, 15 will be produced, - said Pavel Cheshun, Director of OJSC "Mekosan". - The machine was designed to fertilize plants during the spring off-road period, so that their active growth phase begins. It can be used with both a sprayer and a spreader."
In general, about 50 thousand people work in the agricultural and processing industries in the Brest region.
