In the Ulyanovsk region, cattle production increased by 14.3%

Thus, the volume of cattle production for slaughter increased by 14.3% compared to last year’s level and reached 4 thousand tons.

MILK production in January-June of this year in agricultural organizations in the region increased by 2.1% compared to the corresponding period last year and amounted to 52.3 thousand tons.

In the first half of 2024 , agricultural organizations produced 3,631 kg of milk per cow, which is 3.9% higher than the same figure in 2023.
