USA: Week 20 Broiler Market Review 2023

Average prices for chicken cuttings showed positive dynamics against the backdrop of rising prices for almost all types of cuttings, with the exception of MMO minced meat.

The US Department of Agriculture increased the forecast for the growth of world meat production in 2023 by 1 million tons. In total, according to the results of the year, 277 million tons of meat will be produced in the world. The United States remains the leader in the production of poultry meat. The country is also the main global supplier of meat chicken cross genetic material. According to the forecast of the US Department of Agriculture, this year American producers will increase the production of poultry meat by 0.3 million tons - to a record 21.3 million tons.
