Therefore, from the point of view of product safety, the state needs to ensure that there are both an effective regulatory framework and serious penalties for falsifying products,” Sergey Dankvert said.

He proposed to introduce a register of unscrupulous companies and their owners. “I committed a violation - you won’t be able to open new enterprises or be a shareholder of them. The manufacturer himself must have an internal control system, and the laboratory must be accredited: responsibility for the results of the check must be serious, not fake,” the head of the service explained.

Sergey Dankvert told how violations are detected using information systems of Rosselkhoznadzor . “Thanks to our systems, we can see how much raw material went in and how much the final product came out: discrepancies outside the allowable values ​​are the first sign of various kinds of violations.
