According to the minister, the main tasks of the agricultural industry today, in addition to increasing beef production, are to increase the volume of greenhouse vegetable growing, expand the production of oilseeds - sunflower, rapeseed, flax, mustard, and increase the production of MILK powder. In addition, there are all conditions for the development of poultry MEAT production, the HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture said.

“In recent years, crop production has been very profitable. Conventionally, grain cost 13-16 rubles. But it was not very profitable to build and maintain farms for cattle , small cattle and poultry. Today grain costs 8 rubles. In crop production, we have no other opportunities to sell grain. Therefore, today it is profitable to build dairy farms, pig farms, expand and build poultry farms. For example, the Cherkizovo company [on the territory of the republic] will double the volume of meat production, which is 127,000 tons. The company, which was previously called Turkey, works well for us, producing about 30,000 tons of turkey meat annually,” Fazrakhmanov said.

According to the minister, modern agricultural enterprises and farmers have learned to consider their own benefit and monitor market conditions. This is facilitated by the introduced "Western model of management" in agriculture, the vice-premier noted.
