PIONEER MEIZHENG BIO-TECH (5 in1) JC0586 - Antibiotic tests 5 in 1 / Rapid tests for determining the residual amount of β-lactams, tetracyclines and cephalexin in milk, wheyOn July 28, within the framework of the XII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021", the session "Halal Industry: Experience, Prospects" was held.
Artem Malkhasyan, Deputy Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Export Development of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, said:
“The market for halal products is growing every year, in 2020 the import of halal products in the world amounted to more than 30 billion US dollars .. For us, this is a fairly capacious market, which is of interest, a significant share of exports falls on halal products. In the world, the main types of imports of Halal products are meat, dairy products, finished food products, and confectionery. For these groups of goods, the Russian Federation can adequately compete with other manufacturers of these products.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov noted that since 2020, the region has begun to pay special attention to the export of halal products, since Tatarstan has many partners in the Middle East, in the Arab countries. Chicken meat has become the main export product, duck and turkey meat is also supplied abroad. Nail Zalakov called the market for halal products difficult due to the fact that each importing country has its own requirements for such products.
Ihsan Ovut, Secretary General of the Institute for Standardization and Metrology of Islamic Countries (SMIIC), noted that it is international standardization that makes it possible to conduct free trade between countries.
According to Ihsan Ovut, the main problem in the trade of halal products is national differences in the recognition of certain standards. “I think we should be together. And, God willing, the next step in the work of SMIIC will be a new document. It will be a certain pyramid of accreditations and certifications, mutual recognition. We should not be limited by personal interests, we should have common interests,” said Ihsan Ovut.
And this fact will be taken into account when preparing the monthly analytical report Meatinfo.ru
