By 2030, RUSSIA should enter the top ten world food exporters. This was stated in an interview by Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.

According to her, the pandemic has opened up appropriate opportunities for Russia. The world economy is going through a difficult period. The country needs to engage in digitalization and reduce the costs of enterprises.

“A window of opportunity is opening to become one of the top 10 largest food suppliers in the world. This is an ambitious task, because many technological and logistics chains will have to be rebuilt, as well as changes in food production,” she said.
