A drunk driver caused an accident on Brilevskaya Street, BELTA reports citing the State Automobile Inspectorate Department of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
A 22-year-old young man got behind the wheel of a Belgee. Opposite one of the houses on Brilevskaya Street, he lost control, crashed into a dividing barrier, drove into the oncoming traffic lane, where the car overturned. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. The car received mechanical damage.
The traffic police officers who arrived at the scene of the accident suspected that the driver got behind the wheel drunk. The inspectors' suspicions were confirmed by a medical examination: 1.73 ppm of
ALCOHOL.
The young man was detained. The car was placed in an impound lot.
