A drunken resident of Gorodok tore off the Belarusian flag and threw it to the ground. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case

March 11, MINSK . A drunk man in Gorodok tore off the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus and threw the state symbol to the ground. A criminal case has been opened. BELTA was informed about this by the Investigative Committee.

According to the investigation, on the evening of March 10, a 39-year-old man was in a state ofdrunk on the way to the store, he tore off the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus and threw it to the ground.

The hooligan was promptly detained by police officers. The detainee, however, could not clearly explain his actions, as he was very drunk. But the local resident’s act was caught on CCTV footage.

A criminal case has been initiated against a 39-year-old man under Art. 370 (outrage of the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus) of the Criminal Code. It was established that the defendant had previously been convicted of theft.
