August 19, Mogilev. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and OSVOD continue raids on the reservoirs of Mogilev to prevent accidents. This was reported to BelTA in the Mogilev Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to experts, because of the hot weather, the reservoirs are crowded. To prevent accidents on the water and educate the population about life safety rules, employees of the Mogilev city department for emergency situations, together with OSVOD representatives and law enforcement agencies, carried out preventive measures in places of recreation for people near the water.Vacationers were explained the basic rules of safe behavior on the water, the algorithm for providing assistance to the victims, and were presented with thematic visual and pictorial products. Those present were urged to refrain from swimming while intoxicated and to keep a close eye on the children during the holidays.
As noted in the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, such raids will be carried out in the region until the end of the swimming season on a regular basis.
