Traffic police: 345 reckless drivers fined over the weekend in Minsk

September 26, MINSK. Over the weekend in Minsk, 345 motorists were fined for speeding. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Over the past weekend, 114 accidents occurred in Minsk, in which one person died and two more were injured. 17 drivers were arrested for drunk driving. 345 motorists were fined for speeding. In addition, employees of the State traffic inspectorate prevented 75 facts of driving vehicles without rights. 140 drivers were involved for violations of the rules of passage of pedestrian crossings. As for violations by pedestrians, 336 people violated traffic rules by 366 people, 42 of whom were intoxicated .

The State traffic inspectorate calls on all road users to strictly observe the rules of the road and recommend remembering the safety measures on the roads.
