A Government Commission on issues of agro-industrial and fishery complexes will be created in Chuvashia

The coordinating body will combine the functions of the Government Commission on Agro-Industrial Issues, monitoring and rapid response to changes in the state of the food market of the republic and the Fisheries Council of the region, which in turn will be abolished.
The corresponding draft resolution was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic, which was chaired by the HEAD of the region Oleg Nikolaev.
“The main task of the new Government Commission will be to organize events that will be aimed at implementing an effective agri-food policy, strong interaction between government bodies and organizations at all levels on the functioning of the fishery complex,” said the Deputy Prime Minister,Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.
The functions of the Commission will be to determine priority directions for the development of the agro-industrial and fishery complexes of the region, review and analyze information on the progress of implementation of decisions adopted by the Government of Chuvashia, adjust them, forecast the progress of implementation of departmental programs, develop proposals for the main directions of industry development.
After signing the considered resolution, the composition of the Government Commission on issues of agro-industrial and fishery complexes will be approved.
