The Kremlin appreciated the reports of the US refusal of sanctions against Nord Stream 2 AG

The Kremlin positively assesses the fact that the information that the United States may refuse to impose sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 operator is positive, but considers it "impersonal". This was told to journalists by the press secretary of the President of RUSSIA Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.

“We are talking about impersonal publications so far, so this can hardly be taken as a signal. Although the very fact of the appearance of just such publications is quite positive in itself, ”he said and added that there was no official confirmation of the information from the United States yet.

According to Peskov, reading such news is better than reading about upcoming US sanctions. He also noted that the Russian authorities do not yet have any official plans in this regard.
