Kazan University introduced mandatory vaccination against COVID-19

Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University introduced mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 for employees and students. Must be completed by August 25th

“Heads of structural subdivisions of KFU and heads of structural subdivisions of branches of KFU should provide vaccination (revaccination for people who had COVID-19 or were vaccinated against COVID-19 more than six months ago) until 08/25/2021 of subordinate employees against a new coronavirus infection in vaccination rooms organized by KFU”, - quotes the publication "Business Online" an order signed by the rector of the university Ilshat Gafurov.

It is noted that the rector instructed to explain to employees the consequences of refusing to vaccinate, including the possible suspension from work without pay.

In addition, employees and students will be warned that from September 1, the access control in the buildings and educational buildings of the university may change. 

It is reported that at the entrance to the staff and students may require one of the documents:

the result of the PCR test for COVID-19 (negative) (done no more than 72 hours before visiting the KFU premises); certificate of vaccination (revaccination) against a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19); doctor's certificate of medical exemption from vaccination (revaccination) against a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19); a certificate of illness COVID-19 in the last 6 months.
