Joseph Prigozhin has contracted pneumonia.

Producer Iosif Prigozhin has contracted pneumonia, he told RBC.

"Influenza A and pneumonia. Everything's fine. It's already better today," the producer noted.

On the evening of December 10, Prigozhin was urgently hospitalized, his assistant Stanislav Kalinkin told RBC. Journalist Ksenia Sobchak, in the TELEGRAM channel "Bloody Lady," clarified that she was able to reach Prigozhin by phone, and doctors suspected he had pneumonia. The producer himself reported that he was in Lapino Clinical Hospital.

Prigozhin is 54 years old. In February 2021, he revealed that he and his wife, singer Valeria, had contracted covid-19. She had a mild case, but Prigozhin's was a different story. He explained that he felt well during the first week of his illness, but later began experiencing shortness of breath. The producer was hospitalized at a local hospital and placed on oxygen.

Prigozhin clarified that he and his wife followed recommended protective measures, but he was not vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS.
