In the Bondarsky district of the Tambov region, quarantine for African swine fever has been lifted since May 14. The corresponding resolution was signed by the HEAD of the regional administration Alexander Nikitin.

The outbreak occurred in winter at the production site of Cherkizovo-Svinovodstvo LLC in the village of Maksimovka, where 12,000 animals were kept. ASF quarantine has been established since January 16. Within six months from the date of its cancellation, post-quarantine restrictions will be in effect in the first and second threatened zones.

In the first threatened zone, it is not allowed to complete the livestock of pig farms. Until November 14, 2021, it is not allowed to EXPORT live pigs, pork and other types of pig products (except for those that have undergone heat treatment in a mode above +70 ° C) outside the administrative borders of Bondarsky, Gavrilovsky, Kirsanovsky, Pichaevsky, Rasskazovsky, Sosnovsky and Tambov districts. In the same areas, the purchase and sale of animals susceptible to the ASF virus is limited.
