Arbitration interrupted the process of Cherkizovo's claim against the Kungur meat processing plant

We remind you that the capital holding demanded compensation from the defendant in an amount exceeding 141.8 million rubles for violation of the exclusive rights to use the trademark and the production of products confusingly similar to a similar proposal from Cherkizovo. We were talking about boiled sausage “Yuzhnaya” (certificate No. 852599): the Kungur meat processing plant produced brisket with the same name.

The court decided to suspend the proceedings based on the Kungursky meat processing plant's appeal to the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent). The defendant filed an objection to the protection of trademark rights with the Chamber of Patent Disputes. The process can be resumed when Rospatent makes an appropriate decision.
