
November 3, Minsk . Wanting to take revenge for harsh working conditions, a drunk driver from Minsk without a license stole a car from his employer and got into an accident. This was reported to BELTA by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
On the night of November 3, a 34-year-old man driving a Range Rover was driving along the capital's Brilevskaya Street, lost control and crashed into a bus stop in the Minsk-Mir area. The car overturned and caught fire.The traffic police officers of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Emergency Situations immediately arrived at the scene of the accident. It turned out that the driver got behind the wheel of a foreign car in a stateintoxicated and without a driving license. The car in which the man committed the accident was stolen from his employer. The detainee explained to law enforcement that he stole the car and planned to burn it outside the city to take revenge on his employer for difficult working conditions.
An investigation is underway into the incident. It is known that the defendant had previously been prosecuted for car theft and property crimes.
