
November 19, MINSK. The guest stole things worth Br2,000 from a Minsker, BelTA was told at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
A 52-year-old Minsk resident reported to the Frunzenskoye police department of Minsk that jewelry, a bicycle and construction tools were missing from his apartment. Operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department found that a 39-year-old friend of the owner, who temporarily lived with him, could be involved in the theft.
“It turned out that the guest regularly brought ALCOHOL to the house and offered to drink it together. When the Minsker fell asleep, the friend took the property out of the apartment and took it to the pawnshop,” the police department said.
The total value of the stolen items - a gold ring, a bicycle, an industrial hair dryer, a drill, an electric planer and a screwdriver - amounted to about Br2 thousand.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.
