Drunk driver at high speed rammed a car of road services in Minsk

A 25-year-old man in a Mercedes was driving along Dzerzhinsky Avenue today and collided with a Volkswagen driving ahead. The latter was thrown from the impact onto a metal fence, and the Mercedes rammed a MAZ truck - a car covering the road services.

it was established that the driver of the Mercedes was under the influence of ALCOHOL at the time of the incident . The result of the examination is 1.16 ppm of alcohol. In addition, the speed of the foreign car during the collision was 183 km/h.

The car sustained mechanical damage in the accident. The incident is under investigation.

State traffic inspectors ask everyone who sees that a drunk driver is driving or driving a vehicle, not to remain indifferent and immediately report it by phone 102. "It is possible that your call will help to avoid a tragedy," the UGAI added.
