Financing of the program for the integrated development of rural areas in the Rostov region increased by 2.5 times

The Don government held a meeting via videoconference on the construction, reconstruction, design of engineering infrastructure facilities financed under the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories" in 2022. More than 45 people took part in the event, which was held by the First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Viktor Goncharov, by video link, including representatives of sectoral ministries, heads of districts, and specialists from the administrations of rural municipalities.

“In 2022, following the instructions of President Vladimir Putin and Don Governor Vasily Golubev, 3.3 billion rubles will be allocated to finance the main activities of the state program “Integrated Development of Rural Territories” in the Rostov Region, excluding funds allocated for the direction of “rural mortgage”. This is 2.5 times more than last year, Viktor Goncharov said. - In the Rostov region, close attention is paid to the development of rural areas and significant financial resources are allocated. The implementation of the directions of the state program is carried out by six ministries: the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of HEALTH and the Ministry of Transport and is controlled by the regional governor.

According to the Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food, in the past 2021, funding for the state program amounted to 1 billion 346 million rubles, including 915.2 million rubles from the regional budget and 430.8 million rubles from the federal budget.
The amount of funding increased by 60% in 2022 will amount to 3 billion 324.5 million rubles and will be directed to perform work on 102 facilities in 26 municipal districts, of which 17 facilities are transferred from 2021, all the rest are new.

Thus, 76.2 million rubles are provided for improving the living conditions of rural families (excluding the “rural mortgage”), 2.75 billion rubles for the performance of work on 92 construction, design and improvement facilities, for training and practice of young specialists for the agro-industrial complex - 1.1 million rubles. Also, within the framework of the state program, funds are allocated for the construction and repair of houses of culture, educational and healthcare institutions, and roads in rural areas.

At the meeting, it was noted that the limits were brought to the municipal districts. The first deputy governor instructed all heads of districts to take personal control over the completion of tender procedures for objects with federal funding until March 1.

Recall that the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories" has been implemented since January 2020. It provides for the implementation of such measures as improving the living conditions of citizens, equipping rural areas with engineering infrastructure facilities, improving rural settlements, and shaping the modern look of rural areas.

As the Minister of Agriculture of RUSSIA Dmitry Patrushev said at the end of 2021, in two years the activities of the state program for the integrated development of the village affected 8 million Russians. Thanks to the state program, many large projects aimed at improving the quality of life in rural areas have been implemented throughout the country.
