More than 1.5 thousand cases of covid were recorded in the North Caucasus per day

As of March 1, 1,593 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. Since the start of the covid pandemic, 494,146 people have fallen ill in the North Caucasus.

So, over the past day, 763 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Stavropol Territory , 321 in Kabardino-Balkaria, 176 in Dagestan, 180 in Karachay-Cherkessia, 83 in Ingushetia, 49 in North Ossetia, and 21 in Chechnya.

In turn, 1,623 people recovered per day in the district: 688 people in Stavropol, 314 in Dagestan, 205 in the KChR, 137 in Ingushetia, 136 in the KBR, 127 in North Ossetia and 16 in Chechnya. For the entire period, 417,942 people were cured in the district.

The daily increase in deaths from coronavirus in the North Caucasus Federal District amounted to 23 people. In particular, nine people died in the Stavropol Territory, six in the KBR, five in Dagestan, two in the KChR, and one in North Ossetia-Alania.

As RBC Kavkaz reported, on February 28, 1,870 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.
