Gamalei Alexander Gintsburg, commenting on the statement of State Duma deputy Maxim Ivanov, who said that the government allegedly wants to make vaccination against COVID-19 paid.

“Russian legislation does not provide for such options, because our country is the most liberal, as close as possible to a person and creates the most favorable conditions for everyone who wants to be vaccinated,” Gunzburg said.

He noted that he does not support the change in legislation, as a result of which new paid services would appear. At the same time, Gunzburg added that, if desired, any person can be vaccinated for a fee in private clinics.

Earlier, State Duma deputy from United Russia Maxim Ivanov wrote on his Facebook page that “there is a desire in the government from March to make the vaccine against coronavirus paid.” However, he later clarified that it was exclusively his idea, and called his statements reckless.
