Center "Vector" announced the volume of produced vaccine "EpiVakKorona"

More than 3.4 million doses of EpiVacCorona coronavirus vaccine have been produced in Russia. This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the manufacturer of the drug - the center "Vector".

The Vector State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology and its industrial partners have produced more than 3.4 million doses of the vaccine.

They specified that more than 3.1 million doses of the drug have been introduced into civilian circulation. More than 2.4 million doses were shipped from warehouses.

President Vladimir Putin announced the registration of EpiVacKorona in October last year. It became the second coronavirus vaccine approved in Russia. The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova participated in the development of the drug. On June 29, the developer announced that EpiVacCoron will be produced in syringe doses.

On June 28, the Vector Center applied for registration of another COVID-19 vaccine . The developer himself indicated that the preparations are practically no different. The only difference is that the two peptides are combined for ease of synthesis.

Earlier, on July 1, the Moscow mayor's office announced that EpiVacCorona stocks had run out in the capital.
