Sibagro is the largest Russian pork exporter to Mongolia

According to the results of the third quarter of 2021, the Sibagro agro-industrial holding was recognized as the largest Russian supplier of pork to Mongolia.

In January-September, a group of companies headquartered in Tomsk shipped 3.3 thousand tons of products to Mongolia, exceeding the total volume of supplies for the previous year. Compared to the final figure for 2020, the increase was 48%.

Georgy Cholokyan, HEAD of the EXPORT sales department of Sibagro JSC, explained the leadership in this area by the high quality of MEAT and constructive interaction with Mongolian importers. He noted that the capacity of the domestic market of Mongolia is rather modest when compared with other Asian countries, and therefore the range and logistics of supplies play a huge role.

Due to the favorable geographical location in relation to the Russian-Mongolian border, Sibagro enterprises have the opportunity to supply not only frozen, but also chilled products to this country. In the near future, the holding will supplement its export range with chicken meat.
