Almost 45,000 tons of meat were imported into Primorye under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor.

In 2024 , 45,400 tons of meat were imported to the region. The largest imports this year were poultry (31,400 tons), beef (9,500 tons), and buffalo (3,100 tons). China remains the leading exporter , importing 26,100 tons of meat products. Supplies also came from Brazil (approximately 13,000 tons), India (3,100 tons), and other countries, including Paraguay, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, and Australia. The agency oversees the compliance of imported consignments with established requirements.
