Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Saratov Region - regionalMinister of Agriculture Roman Kovalsky, as well as Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region for the development of the livestock industry Alexey Molchanov, visited the farm OOO " Vremya 91 " in the village of Krasny Yar, Engels district, which specializes in raising broiler chickens.

According to Deputy Director for Livestock Roman Belov, until 2017 the company was engaged in pig breeding, but then switched to an alternative activity related to raising poultry for meat .

OOO Vremya 91 is a small enterprise with an annual production volume of about 700 tons of poultry meat in live weight. The farm contains more than 28,300 birds, and over the first nine months of the current year, 461.3 tons of poultry for slaughter in live form were produced.

During the visit, Roman Kovalsky noted the good organization of production, as well as the high level of biological safety, given the spread of infectious and viral diseases.

The head of the agricultural department discussed with the head of "Vremya 91" Vladimir Golytbin support measures aimed at developing this enterprise and poultry farming. He noted that broiler meat is one of the most accessible to the population, but currently the region's residents do not have it in full, so the development of broiler poultry farming is a priority for the regional government.
