November 1, Mogilev. Since the beginning of the year, 3.3 thousand liters of counterfeit ALCOHOL have been seized in the Mogilev region. BelTA was informed about this by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.

"Since the beginning of the year, 3,300 liters of counterfeit alcoholic products have been seized from illegal circulation for a total amount of about Br77,000, including 2,900 liters of alcohol-containing liquid worth more than Br75,000," the ministry said.

So, on October 22, near Gorki, law enforcement officers detained a Toyota Land Cruiser car driven by a 42-year-old local resident, in which an alcohol-containing liquid was transported without proper documents. In the interior of the vehicle, employees of the department for combating economic crimes of the Gorki District Department of Internal Affairs found 5 plastic containers with a volume of 5 liters each. The driver explained that he had purchased the specified liquid on the market in Smolensk for personal use. The alcohol-containing liquid was confiscated, an expert examination was appointed, and a check is underway.

The latter is threatened with bringing to administrative responsibility under part 3 of article 13.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - the movement of more than 5 liters of non-food alcohol-containing products through the territory of Belarus by an individual who is not an individual entrepreneur. The offense entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of 10 to 100 basic units with confiscation of the transported products.
